HDTV deals in April

It’s no Christmas season or Black Friday but April’s tax season has some good deals on its own. Did you get a bigger than expect tax refund and want to splurge on a new HDTV? Or maybe you owe more than you thought and need to save money on big purchases? Either way, April is a great time to check out new HDTV deals. Here are a few of this month’s great HDTV deals:

  • Rakuten.com has the LG 55LS5700 55-inch LED-Edgelit LCD HDTV for $899.99 and free shipping. This is a great deal. The LG 55-inch is being sold at BestBuy.com for $1,199.99. The TV includes built-in wireless and the so-called “Magic Remote,” which allows viewers to control the TV with hand movements.
  • Rakuten.com has the LG 55LM7600 55-inch 3D LED LCD HDTV for $1199.99 with free shipping. Viewers and critics alike have lauded the LG for its clarity and bright 3D features. It also includes a remote with movement sensors, so you can control the TV with a swipe of your hand.
  • Dell Home has the Samsung Series 5 46-inch LED LCD HDTV for $748.99 with free shipping and a $200 Dell eGift card. If you subtract the gift card, the price comes to $548.99. The TV includes Allshare Play, which allows you to stream content from your other devices to the TV. The Samsung can also access Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, and other digital content providers.
