As fans, we recommend the sickest TV shows and movies, dig for deals on TV and internet, and share our findings like post-binge spoilers.

CableTV.com was launched in the fall of 2007 as a website dedicated to helping folks find cable TV and home internet service in their neighborhood. To this day, helping you find high-quality local TV and home internet options remains the core of our mission even as we have expanded into streaming, entertainment, and live sports over the years.

In the early 2010s, we began publishing entertainment content and viewing guides to help our readers enjoy the best in TV programming. Then, in 2016, we dipped our toes in comprehensive service and product reviews. Our expertise in services only grew from there, with hundreds of honest reviews of national brands like DISH Network and Verizon Fios.

That said, chances are that you first heard of us thanks to our dream jobs. We kicked off our first popular dream job in the spring of 2019, paying one lucky fan cash money to watch Marvel movies. We now do two annual dream jobs: Our viral Ho Ho Holiday Dream Job and our brand-new Summer of Cinema.

And then the pandemic hit … We went all in on streaming, cranking out reviews of every streaming service from DIRECTV STREAM to Netflix to niche services like Shudder. Understandably, demand for TV was at an all-time high, so we also ramped up our streaming and sports viewing guides to give you expert recommendations from our seasoned TV critics.

This brings us to today. CableTV.com still tirelessly works to get you all the right TV and internet recommendations so you can save time and money from the comfort of your couch.
