Whether you watch for the commercials, the camaraderie, or because you actually want to see the game, it’s likely you’re among the millions of Americans who tune in to watch the Super Bowl each year.
As a team of professional TV junkies, we’re usually posted up on our sofas to watch the game right along with you, but we decided to do things a little differently for Super Bowl LIII.
This year, CableTV.com partnered with a local homeless resource organization to throw a Super Bowl party for its residents. We brought in 17 pizzas, 200 cupcakes, and dozens of chips and drinks to make this year’s big game a memorable event for individuals and families at The Road Home’s Palmer Court housing complex.
As a Utah-based company, CableTV.com’s team members are aware of the growing number of displaced individuals and families around the state, and we admire the work that the Road Home does to support their journey to regain stable housing.
We wanted to give back to our local community, and working with the Road Home to celebrate America’s most beloved televised event was a natural fit.
Our mission is to connect people with the content they love through the best viewing options available. We’re thankful to the Road Home’s Palmer Court community for allowing us the opportunity to live up to this goal in a new and exciting way.
