Spectrum deals and promotions can get you up to $500

With a download speed of up to 300 Mbps (wireless speeds may vary), the Spectrum Internet package is best for small households who stream TV and work from home. With its faster maximum download and upload speeds, Spectrum Internet Ultra and Spectrum Internet Gig comfortably handle regular streaming video or video calls from a larger four to six-person family.
Although Spectrum’s internet packages are pricey compared to other nationwide ISPs, the provider offers no contract agreements and a free modem, so you won’t have to worry about equipment rental surcharges. But after 12 or 24 months (depending on your plan), your monthly bill will go up by $25.00.

Spectrum TV Select includes the usual basic cable channels such as ESPN, Food Network, and Nickelodeon, along with access to basic Disney+. TV Select Plus includes these channels, plus Regional Sports Networks (RSNs) and ESPN+ for just $5.00 more per month. You can get more channels through Spectrum’s à la carte options for premium, sports, and entertainment channels.
For our Spanish-speaking TV fans, Spectrum’s Mi Plan Latino bundles include a separate lineup of English- and Spanish-language channels, such as ESPN Deportes and Galavisión. There’s also an upgrade with 70 Spanish-language channels that you can apply to any of the plans.

For those who want the security of a landline phone, Spectrum offers a good home phone package.
For $19.99 per month, you’ll get unlimited calling to the U.S., Mexico, Canada, and Puerto Rico. For an extra $5.00/mo. you can add unlimited international calls to more than 70 countries, including Hong Kong, Spain, and the U.K.
Spectrum Voice is a no-brainer if you’re looking for a landline and are already a Spectrum customer. But since Voice requires a bundle, if you need just home phone service, you’ll have to look elsewhere.
Spectrum Mobile is a great deal for Spectrum internet customers

Similar to Spectrum Voice, you cannot get a Spectrum Mobile plan à la carte. Spectrum Mobile is only available to Spectrum Internet customers—and we say it’s a solid choice.
Spectrum offers three mobile plans: one pay-as-you-go and the other two with unlimited data. Spectrum Mobile uses the Verizon cell network, so these plans offer great nationwide coverage. Plus, all three plans offer unlimited talk and text in the United States.
Just beware—the two “Unlimited” plans aren’t really unlimited. Beware of data throttling when you go over 30 or 50 GB, respectively. Find out more details on our Spectrum mobile review.
Is Spectrum worth it?
On Spectrum’s middle and top-tier internet and TV packages, you’ll get solid download speeds, premium cable channels, and add-ons like bundled access to Max‘s expanding TV and movie library.
The only Spectrum service we’d recommend wholeheartedly, though, is a Spectrum Mobile and Internet bundle, which will give you access to Verizon’s cell service for a fraction of the cost.

Spectrum offers bundled TV and Internet services starting at $109.98 per month for a 12-month promotional period. You’ll also get additional services like Spectrum’s WiFi hotspot network.
Is Spectrum part of Time Warner Cable?
Back in 2015, Charter Communications (Spectrum’s parent company) merged with Time Warner Cable and regional ISP Bright House Networks. Time Warner Cable is now part of the Spectrum and Charter umbrella of companies.
For past Charter and Time Warner Cable subscribers, you shouldn’t expect any service differences when opening a Spectrum account.
Is Spectrum TV and internet any good?
Spectrum’s TV packages offer an OK selection of basic channels for $69.99/mo.. If you need more channels, you can upgrade your package with à la carte options. Spectrum’s $500 contract buyout and included basic Disney+ help sweeten the deal.
Internet needs vary depending on your personal needs. But in most cases, Spectrum Internet (300 Mbps) will be fine for one person or small households, Spectrum Internet Ultra (500 Mbps) will have enough download performance for most families, and Spectrum Internet Gig (1,000 Mbps) can accommodate families and heavy internet users who are frequently streaming movies, playing multiplayer online games, or taking daily video calls.
