Between breaking in a new head coach in former offensive coordinator Sherrone Moore, replacing multiple starters on both sides of the ball, and starting their first year in the jumbo-sized Big Ten, this year’s Michigan squad will look far different that the teams Michigan fans have gotten used.

Michigan Wolverines football schedule 2024
Michigan football will look a lot different for longtime fans this fall. Michigan’s non-conference schedule will be anchored by a huge matchup with College Football Playoff runner-up Texas. The Wolverines will also enter their first year of play in the jumbo-sized Big Ten. In addition to home games against Oregon and USC, they’ll head to Seattle for a national championship rematch against Washington in October.
And in case that all wasn’t enough, 2024 will also be the inaugural year for the expanded 12-team College Football Playoff. If this year’s Michigan team looks anything close to last year’s squad, Michigan could potentially return to the postseason.
