A Paramount+ subscription costs $7.99/mo. with ads and $12.99/mo. without ads. The ad-free Premium plan comes with the added bonus of SHOWTIME’s entire catalog, including hit shows like Yellowjackets and Dexter.
Both plans are available for a discounted rate with annual renewal—the Essential plan costs $58.99/yr. (~$4.92/mo.) and the Premium plan costs $119.99/yr. (~10.00/mo.).
When billed annually, the Essential plan is a great deal compared to other top streaming services. However, Paramount+ Premium offers a better user experience without the hassle of ads.
But Paramount+ Premium can get expensive. Does it really offer enough content to justify the price tag? If you can only subscribe to one streaming service in 2025, you might not pick Paramount+. It doesn’t carry the same level of high-profile original content as platforms like Netflix and Apple TV+.
