Vidgo Channels

Vidgo offers over 100 live channels, which sounds impressive for the price—until you notice what’s missing.

NBCUniversal and WarnerMedia-owned channels like Syfy, USA, Bravo, TBS, TNT, and CNN are nowhere to be found on Vidgo. These glaring holes are hard to overlook, especially if you’re switching from cable or satellite TV. Some channels are TV staples—omitting them is almost like not offering a pepperoni option for pizza.

On the plus side for Vidgo, few live TV streaming services carry Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Drama, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, Lifetime, and Lifetime Movies, and the only other place international soccer fans can stream beIN Sports is fuboTV. These are all great channels to have around Christmas and fútbol seasons.

Between Vidgo’s two English-language plans, we’d say the basic Plus option is the better value at $59.95 a month. For $20 a month more, Premium doesn’t give you many extra recognizable channels you’d probably ever watch (with the exception of NFL RedZone).

Vidgo live sports

Vidgo is a decent streamer for sports, as it carries several of the biggest sports channels, including ESPN, ESPN2, FS1, FS2, and NFL Network, as well as local ABC and FOX channels.

What you won’t get with Vidgo are NBA TV, TNT, or local CBS or NBC channels. That’s gonna sting around NBA playoffs time.

Also, Vidgo carries few regional sports networks—double sting. If you need more RSNs, we’d suggest fuboTV, our editorial pick for the best streaming service for sports.

College ball fans, on the other hand, should like the inclusion of the big four of collegiate sports: AAC Network, Big Ten Network, Pac-12 Network, and SEC Network. Also here for Texans is the Longhorn Network—hook ‘em!

Vidgo local channels

Vidgo carries local channels from only ABC and FOX stations, and not in all markets.

To watch CBS, NBC, The CW, PBS, Telemundo, or any other local station, you’d have to buy an over-the-air digital antenna (which we recommend, anyway—if your internet goes down, it can be a lifesaver, or at least a boredom tamer).

Vidgo Spanish Mas plan

We don’t always list TV services’ Spanish channels, but Vidgo’s Spanish Mas plan has so many (over 50) that it’s worth mentioning.

The Spanish Mas lineup isn’t an add-on package to Vidgo’s English plans, but a standalone plan for $29.99 a month. Several of these channels are also available in Vidgo’s Plus and Premium plans.
