Meanwhile, the NFC Championship will pit NFC East rivals the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders against each other for the third time this season, adding a layer of familiarity to the high-stakes drama.

CableTV.com’s NFL Game of the Week
Buffalo Bills at Kansas City Chiefs | CBS, Paramount+
Coverage begins Sunday, January 26, at 6:30 p.m. ET: The AFC Championship will showcase the blockbuster showdown fans have been waiting for: the Buffalo Bills at the Kansas City Chiefs. This rivalry has become one of the NFL’s most exciting, with Sunday marking their ninth meeting since 2020. The Bills have dominated in the regular season, winning four straight, but the Chiefs have ruled the postseason.
Buffalo’s hopes rest on Josh Allen, who has yet to beat Kansas City in the playoffs. Allen faces added pressure on the road, where the Bills have struggled against top competition. Meanwhile, “Playoff Kelce” is thriving once again. The Chiefs’ star tight end set an NFL record for most 100-yard receiving games in postseason history and remains Patrick Mahomes’ go-to weapon against the toughest defenses.
With a trip to Super Bowl LIX on the line, can the Bills finally overcome the Chiefs and make a run at their first Vince Lombardi Trophy? I predict they can, but my Magic 8 Ball said, “Don’t count on it.”
