It’s been a rough few years for the New England Patriots, but a new man in charge might change everything.
Recently hired head coach Mike Vrabel, who helped build the franchise into a dynasty in the 2000s as a player, will be charged with taking the team to the next level. He won three Super Bowls with the Patriots. And he was named the Associated Press Coach of the Year in 2021 with the Tennessee Titans. So he knows what it takes to win both as a player and coach.
Vrabel is taking over a team that largely hasn’t been the same since Tom Brady left. And while it most likely will be a rebuilding year, I still think the Patriots will be fun to watch. So keep reading to find out how you can see every snap on TV, from the start of the preseason to the end of the regular season.
What channels have New England Patriots games?
CBS will be airing 11 Patriots games during the 2025 NFL season—by far the most of any channel. FOX has two games, and ESPN, NBC, and Amazon Prime Video each have one.
In-market fans also have the option to stream CBS-aired games on Paramount+ and the lone NBC game on Peacock.

If you live outside those seven states, then you will need an NFL+ or SiriusXM subscription to listen to Patriots play-by-play coverage.
2025 New England Patriots TV schedule
I’m guessing the Patriots defense was not very thrilled when they saw their 2025 schedule. Not only will they be playing against 2024 MVP Josh Allen twice, but they’ll also face Joe Burrow and Lamar Jackson. Not to mention the always-feisty rivalry game against the New York Jets in Week 11.
As if that wasn’t enough, the Pats will play 13 games in a row before finally reaching their bye week late in the season. I need a break just thinking about that stretch!
I do need to mention, though, that New England has one of the easiest schedules in the NFL this year. The Patriots play teams that, in the aggregate, had a losing record in 2024. And, they’ll play just five squads that made the postseason last year.

Best ways to watch the New England Patriots
Most New England Patriots games in 2025 will air on broadcast channels like CBS, FOX, and NBC. But then there’s the Week 13 game on ESPN.
In that case, I think fans would be best served by YouTube TV this season. I’ll get more into what I like about the service in a bit.
Here’s the rub: If you want to watch the game against the New York Jets in Week 11, you’ll need Amazon Prime Video. But instead of paying for that service, I say just get a 30-day free trial in time for the game.

YouTube TV is a cool service in my opinion because it makes it so easy to watch not just the NFL, but various sports. From the pro football side, not only can anyone access their local broadcast stations, but the service includes ESPN and NFL Network. So if you’re an in-market Patriots fan, you can keep track of your team and others throughout the season.
I also like YouTube TV for its accessible interface, unlimited DVR storage, and various other types of content like movies, TV shows, news channels, and more.
Pretty much every TV provider you can think of has the channels you need to watch the New England Patriots this season. But coverage will ultimately depend on where you live. Keep that in mind as you choose a provider.

That's just how the NFL’s 2025 broadcast schedule was set up. For many years, CBS primarily aired AFC games, while FOX typically covered NFC matchups. But that is not necessarily the case anymore. “For the third straight year, games do not have a predetermined network assignment based on conference affiliation of participating teams,” according to NFL Football Operations.
