There’s a saying that the NFL stands for “Not For Long,” and for a good example of this phenomenon, look no further than the 2023 Pittsburgh Steelers. After former first-round pick Kenny Pickett flamed out in his first full year under center, he was unceremoniously shipped out last March in favor of Russell Wilson, who departed Denver earlier that month.
Although Wilson was named the starter ahead of the 2024 regular season, he didn’t take a snap until Week 7. Justin Fields filled in during those first weeks to lead the Steelers to a 4–2 record.
Wilson and company are cooking now, but how far can they go this season? Here’s what you need to know to watch the 2024–2025 Pittsburgh Steelers.
What channel are the Pittsburgh Steelers on?
Steelers games will be shown on the following channels during the 2024 season:
Channels like CBS and FOX can be accessed on streaming and cable TV providers, although Amazon Prime Video requires an Amazon Prime subscription. You’ll also need a Netflix subscription in order to catch the Steelers’ Week 17 game.
2024–2025 Pittsburgh Steelers schedule
The Steelers open the season with two matchups filled with big off-field storylines. They’ll start the year against a Falcons team that fired Steelers offensive coordinator Arthur Smith and, in Kirk Cousins, imported their own veteran quarterback to try and reach the postseason. For Week 2, they’ll also head to Denver in a rematch against Russell Wilson’s former squad.
Elsewhere, notable matchups include back-to-back primetime matchups against the Jets and Giants, a Thursday Night Football slot with the Browns, and a Christmas Day matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs on Netflix.
