The 5 Best Guy Fieri Shows

Guy Fieri has been a Food Network staple for 16 years, so we’ve ranked five of our favorite shows from the King of Flavortown.

Since winning The Next Food Network Star competition in 2006, Guy Fieri has hosted and produced dozens of foodie TV series, including the iconic Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. All those sunglasses aren’t going to buy themselves.

In honor of Guy’s 16 years of Flavortown service on Food Network, we’ve compiled and ranked our five favorite shows from the Guy Fieri Cinematic Universe (GFCU). They’re bomb-dot-com tasty, amigo!

If you’re looking to stream Food Network, it’s carried by all of the major live TV streaming services, including YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, and Philo. Read more about them in our Best Live TV Streaming Services guide.

Guy’s Big Bite | 13 seasons

Fieri’s debut series after winning The Next Food Network Star was Guy’s Big Bite in 2006. Unlike most of his later productions, Guy’s Big Bite was a no-frills cooking show featuring Fieri simply whipping up killer meals in the kitchen. Guy’s Big Bite ran for a decade on Food Network.

Guy’s Big Project | 1 season

It ran for only a single season, but Guy’s Big Project had a great premise: pro chefs, restaurant critics, foodie bloggers, and home cooks compete to pitch and potentially host their own culinary travel show. Show winner Rashad Jones’s series Eat, Sleep, BBQ premiered in 2017.

Guy’s Ranch Kitchen | 5 seasons

Part celebrity chef hangout, part friendly cooking competition, Guy’s Ranch Kitchen featured Fieri inviting culinarian pals like Alex Guarnaschelli, Justin Warner, Marc Murphy, and Jonathan Waxman to his ranch. The resulting spirited cook-offs produced stunning dishes every episode.

Guy’s Grocery Games | 29 seasons

Remember Supermarket Sweep? Guy’s Grocery Games is kind of like that but with added cooking. In the still-running series, four chefs compete in themed elimination rounds (all frozen food, etc.) until one wins a chance at a mad grocery store dash worth $20,000. Big fun!

Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives | 35 seasons

You can’t top Fieri’s o.g. foodie travel show—and it doesn’t even have “Guy” in the title. Since 2007, Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives has road-tripped across the USA, spotlighting over a thousand deliciously unique mom-and-pop joints. If Fieri hasn’t been to your town yet, don’t worry—he’ll get there.

Now that you have a hankering for a good foodie watch, season 35 of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives is currently airing Fridays on Food Network. Most of Fieri’s past and present shows can also be streamed on-demand through Discovery+.
