Amy Young studied Journalism and Mass Communication at Kent State University and has logged more than 15 years writing mostly about arts and culture. From indie to mainstream, her work has appeared in a number of publications, including Pop Matters, Time Out, New York, Alternative Press, Paste Magazine, Arizona Republic, and Phoenix New Times. When she isn’t busy researching and writing about all things, she conducts celebrity interviews for, plays drums in garage-rock bands, and absorbs fictional and real-life psychological thrillers on the regular.
