What is 90-Day Fiancé?

If you haven’t heard of the trash-reality TV phenomenon 90-Day Fiancé (brought to you by TLC, the network formerly known as The Learning Channel), we’re surprised. The series follows engaged couples—one American, one not—through 90 days of IRL togetherness. At the end of each season, the couples decide whether to go through with an obvious sham* marriage.

(*But we pretend it’s for keepsies. It’s part of the fun.)

The series debuted in 2014 and over eight seasons proved to be the “can’t-stop-won’t-stop” of trash reality TV shows. Along the way, 90-Day Fiancé spawned 24+ spin-offs and the one-man meme machine, Big Ed the mayonnaise head.

The spin-offs capitalize on 90-Day Fiancé’s popularity in every conceivable way. Cameras follow the couples who decide to marry (90-Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?), partners who decide to stay single (90-Day Fiancé: The Single Life), even newer couples (90-Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days), and couples where the American partner decides to move abroad (90-Day Fiancé: The Other Way).

Other 90-Day Fiancé spin-offs include reaction/retrospective series that revisit popular characters like the condiment-coiffed Big Ed (B90 Strikes Back, Pillow Talk), or—because twins are hot right now—follow the relationships of identical twins (Darcey & Stacey). Another (The Family Chantel) follows season-four couple Chantel and Pedro and their family.

How to watch 90-Day Fiancé

TLC is the only way to watch current seasons of 90-Day Fiancé and its seemingly infinite spin-off series. And while you can watch at least partial past seasons of these shows on TLC, Discovery+ is the only way to watch full past seasons.

How to watch 90-Day Fiancé seasons 1-8

The original 90-Day Fiancé series has eight seasons (79 episodes). Here’s where you can watch them.

• Cable and satellite TV providers: If your TV provider carries TLC, you can probably watch current and previous seasons of 90-Day Fiancé. And your provider’s login info lets you watch the show with the TLC Go app.
• Live TV streaming services: Many live TV streaming services carry TLC, so you can watch 90-Day Fiancé and its siblings live and on demand.
• On-demand streaming services: Discovery+ has every episode of the original series and most of its spin-offs—but no current seasons.

90-Day Fiancé shows on TLC and Discovery+

If you want to watch the current seasons of these 90-Day Fiancé shows, you’ll need TLC. And that means you’ll need either a cable, satellite, or live TV streaming subscription. We recommend DISH, Philo, and YouTube TV.

These services should also have at least partial past seasons available on demand—but Discovery+ has full seasons of everything (minus the current season). So consider pairing this service with one of our recommendations above.
