Choosing a new internet or TV provider can feel like a very daunting task. This is especially true if you’re a senior who doesn’t necessarily need the fastest internet on the planet, or the TV plan with (what seems like) a thousand different channels.

I’ve done the work and searched through hundreds of different TV and internet plans, and have come up with the top four bundles for seniors that won’t break the bank.

TV and internet service providers vary from place to place. Enter your zip code below to see the top options available in your area.

To write our senior bundles guide, I looked at CableTV.com’s annual Best of the Best Awards and Customer Satisfaction Surveys, where we talked to thousands of real folks to see how they really felt about their internet and TV providers.

I took the information from these awards and surveys, along with additional research into senior internet and TV needs and trends, to determine the best TV and internet bundles for seniors. Keep reading to learn why each bundle is so great.

Best Cable Bundle: Spectrum Internet Premier + TV Select Signature

I think choosing a cable provider is the best bet for seniors looking for a new TV and internet bundle. Most older folks will be familiar with cable service—particularly cable TV—and keeping the old-school remote control and cable box setup is ideal.

The classic cable experience is just one of the reasons why I picked Spectrum as the best bundle for seniors. Along with the benefits of no contracts and a two-year price guarantee, you’ll get a monthly discount on your bill just from bundling Spectrum internet and TV service.

I also recommend this bundle to seniors thanks to Spectrum’s bonus deals for its TV customers. When you sign up for Spectrum TV plans, you’ll get free Disney+, HBO Max, Paramount+, Peacock, and AMC+. It will be easy to entertain your grandkids when they have five streaming services to choose from!

  • In our 2025 TV Customer Satisfaction Survey, Spectrum tied for second place in overall satisfaction at 69%. Not too shabby.
  • I know good customer service is important to folks looking for new TV and internet service. Luckily, Spectrum came in the top five in terms of customer support, with 70% of respondents saying it was easy to work with Spectrum.
  • Ease of installation is also important to consider, and Spectrum came in second place, with 84% of customers expressing satisfaction with Spectrum’s internet installation and setup process.

What do real customers think about Spectrum?

“It's a good company. Good values. Good prices. Very affordable. Great deals, especially the bundles.”

Eriberto R., Texas

Best Bundle Discount: Xfinity 300 Mbps + Popular TV

Xfinity, our 2025 winner for the best overall cable provider, came in at a close second place for best cable bundle for seniors. Spectrum wins out thanks to faster internet speeds and more channels, but I still love this Xfinity bundle if you live in an Xfinity-serviced area.

Xfinity also offers a bundle discount of $20.00 per month when you bundle internet and TV. This is the same discount as Spectrum, but Xfinity’s edges them out since its discount grows as you add in other services like home phone. Plenty of customers we surveyed pointed out the bundle discounts as a big benefit of Xfinity service, including Lawrence B. from Maryland in the quote below.

I think seniors will feel super satisfied with Xfinity. Although Xfinity is not as transparent with its extra fees as we wish it were, its current 5-year price guarantee for Xfinity internet service makes it hard to be mad.

  • 80% of folks reported feeling highly satisfied with Xfinity internet, with 69% (a second-place finish) feeling the same way about Xfinity TV.
  • Xfinity came in second place in highest customer loyalty, with 72% of folks saying they will continue to stick with Xfinity’s TV service.
  • On the internet side of things, 81% of Xfinity subscribers were highly satisfied with Xfinity’s internet speeds.

What do real customers think about Xfinity?

“They provide great service and allow for reasonable bundled rates. Their customer service is excellent to work with.”

Lawrence B., Maryland

Best Streaming Bundle: Frontier Fiber 200 + YouTube TV

This bundle is for seniors willing to take the leap and cut the cable cord. YouTube TV is our top pick for older cord-cutters thanks to its easy-to-use interface, which will be familiar to anyone who has watched videos on YouTube before.

Frontier Fiber is our internet pairing of choice with YouTube TV, thanks to its awesome bundle discount. When you sign up for Frontier internet, you’ll get $10.00 off YouTube TV each month for a full year.

While we wish that the discount lasted longer than 12 months, we still think YouTube TV is worth its $82.99/mo. price tag once the year is up.

  • YouTube TV won CableTV.com’s award for the best live TV streaming service in 2025. Learn more about our choice in our Best Live TV Streaming Services guide.
  • YouTube TV was also a top performer across our customer satisfaction survey, with 79% of respondents reporting feeling highly satisfied with the service.
  • Frontier’s internet customers also feel satisfied, with 77% of its fiber customers affirming that Frontier has met their needs and expectations as an internet service provider.

What do real customers think about YouTube TV?

“They provide the best service in live TV and streaming older shows. They have a wide variety of channels available. They have the best rate.”

Richard J., Nebraska

Best Rural Bundle: CenturyLink Simply Unlimited Internet + DISH America’s Top 120

I will be upfront with you—CenturyLink’s DSL Simply Unlimited Internet is not normally my top pick for internet service … or even in my top ten, for that matter. But when you live in a rural area, sacrifices must be made. For folks living out in the country, where traditional cable internet won’t reach, DSL internet can be a saving grace.

Although the internet speeds max out at 140 Mbps (which, in layman’s terms, is enough for a small household to stream shows and surf the web), the convenience of CenturyLink’s DSL internet is enough to warrant my recommendation.

For that same reason, I chose DISH as the best TV service to pair with CenturyLink. DISH is CableTV.com’s top pick for satellite TV service, and is available basically anywhere in the U.S. where you can get a clear view of the southern sky to set up your satellite dish. DISH also comes with some perks for seniors aged 55+, including equipment protection and free in-home visits from DISH technicians.

  • 67% of CenturyLink DSL users reported that CenturyLink met their expectations as an internet provider. This number is an impressive percentage for DSL service, which is historically a bit finicky.
  • 69% of respondents approved of DISH’s customer support, with only 7% being unimpressed. For such a big company as DISH, this is a solid showing.
  • DISH won CableTV.com’s award for the best satellite TV service in 2025. Learn more about our choice in our Best TV Providers guide.

What do real customers think about CenturyLink?

“[CenturyLink has] been working hard to alleviate outages and connectivity at my home, where I live in a rural area. It's been a lifesaving service for me.”

Chandra P., Texas
