Even if it weren’t the holiday season, we’d still celebrate this week’s games with a little more zest. After all, the NFL Playoffs are just weeks away. But if the season hasn’t been kind to your team, there’s always NBA on Christmas Day games or classic Christmas movies to set things right.

Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys | FOX, NFL SUNDAY TICKET
Coverage begins Sunday, December 24 at 4:25 p.m. eastern: The last time the Philadelphia Eagles faced the Dallas Cowboys was in Week 6. Both teams were slow out of the gate, but the Eagles had a dominant second quarter and won the game 26–17.
One key factor about the Week 6 matchup is that Cooper Rush was the starting quarterback for the Cowboys. While Rush proved to be a solid backup to Dak Prescott, he had a 47% pass completion record and threw three interceptions against the Eagles.
Prescott will likely improve on Rush’s stats during this Week 16 matchup, but the Eagles are unlike any other opponent. Quarterback Jalen Hurts is having an electrifying season, spreading confidence throughout the Eagles organization. And while we think the Eagles have this one in the bag, anything can happen on Christmas Eve.
