Catty, Cringey, Lusty! 8 New Reality Series Streaming in July
With “Love Island,” “Summer House,” and “Temptation Island” in the rearview for the beginning of the summer, there are still so many reality shows we can indulge in. Things are heating up in this summer forecast of mess. Here’s my suggestion: maybe instead of the sun burning our skin, why don’t we just stay home and watch reality TV unfold in front of us? Come on, there’s cool air and ice aplenty in there.
To convince you further, there are plenty of shows returning to our TV screens, including The OGs of the OC – “The Real Housewives of Orange County”, the Korean makeover marvel “Better Late Than Single”, and a new show featuring Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules alum– “House of Stassi.”
Put that sunscreen back in the drawer and bring on the mess! Here’s everything you need to know when it comes to July’s reality TV watchlist!
8. “Better Late Than Single” (July 7 – Netflix)
This Korean reality makeover show helps “eternal singles” find love by coaching them on communication, style, and more. They’re then put together in a house to see whether love blossoms with the other “eternal singles” or whether it leads to heartbreak. This sleeper hit will make you kick your feet, giggle, or yell at the television because you just want them to work!

7. “Big Brother 28” (July 9 – CBS, Paramount+ Premium)
“Big Brother” is back, and if you’re looking to dial into season 28, now is the time! “Big Brother” features houseguests who are cut off from the outside world and filmed 24/7. Within the house, they compete in challenges and form relationships, friendships, enemies, and alliances among the houseguests. If you’re looking for an Orwellian-esque MTV’s “The Real World,” jump into “Big Brother” as soon as possible!

6. “The Real Housewives of Orange County” (July 8 – Bravo, Peacock)
“The Real Housewives of Orange County” is in its 20th season and has become the longest-running in the franchise. We see some old faces returning, including Vicki Gunvalson (aka the OG of the OC), and welcome newcomer Camella Garcia, former Playboy model and wrestler turned real estate agent.

5. “Project Runway” (July 9 – Freeform, Hulu, and Disney+)
Fresh off the catwalk, season 22 is already hitting the ground strutting. (Did you like that wordplay? Don’t roll your eyes!) Heidi Klum returns with Christian Siriano and a panel of A-list judges to launch one designer into superstardom. What’s at stake? Oh, just a cash prize of $200,000, a mentorship to help debut their brand, and a spread in “Elle” magazine. No big deal, right?

4. “Married at First Sight” (July 12 – Peacock)
Have you ever thought of marrying someone sight unseen? No? Well, I have a show for you! “Married at First Sight” brings singles together with the help of relationship experts and walks them down the aisle. When the couples say “I do,” that’s where the real tests begin. Will the experts actually know what they’re doing in matching these couples? Will they stay in these marriages, or will they fall apart?

3. “Love Is Blind: UK – After the Alter” (July 12 – Netflix)
Of the “Love Is Blind” spinoffs, “Love Is Blind: UK” is top-tier entertainment. “Love Is Blind: UK” brings singles to find their match sight unseen. When they meet, they test their connection by mixing their worlds, including living together. Will they be ready to walk down the aisle and say, “I do”? “Love is Blind: UK – After the Altar” brings back our favorites (and not-so-favorites) as they talk about how life has been since their pod experiences and confront each other on old grudges.

Known for hosting “Love Is Blind” and “Perfect Match,” Nick and Vanessa Lachey have graced us once again with one of Netflix’s most diabolical creations. “The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On” features couples who are at a crossroads. One wants to be married, and the other one is on the fence. They test their couple by switching partners with other couples to see if they are the right fit or if there’s someone else out there who may be a better match.

With “House of Stassi,” the audience will get to see why Stassi has continued to be a talked-about figure. Stassi is joined by her husband, Beau Clark, best friend Taylor Strecker, alums from “Vanderpump Rules,” Katie Maloney and Kristina Kelly, and more.
