Readers, without too much ado, we present our 99% blarney-free guide on how to watch the 2024 St. Patrick’s Day parade on NBC New York on Monday, March 17, at 11:00 a.m. ET.
NBC 4 New York is NYC’s affiliate channel, and it isn’t necessarily the same thing as your local NBC channel.
If you’re not a New Yorker, you might have a little trouble locating the broadcast. Have no fear; you can still tune in for free! Let’s go over your options.

What is the St. Patrick’s Day Parade?
Originally a feast honoring one of Ireland’s three patron saints, St. Patrick’s Day—thanks to Irish immigrants to America—is now an excuse for binge drinking and non-consensual pinching (if you don’t wear green). Oh, and a massive parade featuring both activities above, plus Irish music, dancing, and comically large leprechaun balloons.
The most significant U.S.-based St. Patrick’s Day parade—the one you wanna watch—happens in New York City (which must seriously irritate Bostonians).
