A Page Right Out of History: How To Watch Every Flintstones Series and Movie

From the 1960 classic to its many weird spin-offs, here's your guide to streaming the entire Flintstones saga.

Do you ever find yourself humming “Meet the Flintstones” for no reason? I do. It’s basically a reflex at this point. If Bedrock had frequent-flier miles, I’d have earned the complimentary mammoth-fur robe by now.

The Flintstones isn’t just a cartoon; it’s a landmark in television. Debuting in 1960, it was the first primetime animated sitcom, paving the way for shows like The Simpsons and Bob’s Burgers. The franchise has since grown into a full Stone Age empire with multiple spin-offs, TV specials, live-action movies, and tons of merchandising (Pebbles cereal, anyone?).

If you’re ready for a Hanna-Barbera deep dive, knowing where to watch The Flintstones is essential. Some would say it’s the only way to have a yabba-dabba-doo time. That’s why I tore a page from my Scooby-Doo listicle to guide you through every way to stream this prehistoric classic.

Constant buffering is a sign your Wi-Fi speeds have gone the way of the dinosaurs. Enter your zip code below to find faster, more reliable providers in your area.

Where to watch The Flintstones

You can still watch some Flintstones shows and movies on Boomerang and MeTV Toons, where the classics continue to air. For streaming options, Tubi and digital retailers like Amazon Prime Video carry various franchise installments.

The Flintstones library was once part of HBO Max. But times have changed, and the service has since abandoned a lot of its kids’ content. To find specific streaming options for each series, click on the show of your choice from the list below.

Trying to make sense of the Flintstones timeline chronologically is a recipe for a migraine. One minute Pebbles is a teenager, and the next, Fred and the gang are back in grade school. That’s why the best way to experience the franchise is by release date.

Below, I’ve listed every Flintstones TV series with links to stream each one when available. I left off compilation shows like The Flintstone Comedy Hour (1972–1974), which mostly repackaged clips from previous series and isn’t available to watch in its original form.

Where to watch The Flintstones (1960–1966)

Where to watch The Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm Show (1971–1972)

The first Flintstones spin-off fast-forwards the timeline, following the Bedrock kids as teenagers navigating high school and starting a band. Unfortunately, full episodes aren’t available on any streaming service right now. While it occasionally airs on Boomerang, your best option for watching it is to track down the complete series DVD or find scattered clips on YouTube.

Where to watch The New Fred and Barney Show (1979)

Where to watch The Flintstone Comedy Show (1980–1981)

Sadly, The Flintstone Comedy Show is one of the hardest-to-find Flintstones spin-offs and is missing from all streaming services and digital storefronts. Still, you can find several segments on YouTube if you search for The Flintstone Comedy Show, or its alternate names, Flintstone Frolics and The Flintstone Funnies.

Where to watch The Flintstone Kids (1986–1988)

Pro tip: Don’t miss the two Flintstone-starring shorts from Cartoon Network’s What a Cartoon! series. You can find “Dino: Stay Out!” (1995) and “Dino: The Great Egg-Scape” (1997) on YouTube.

Where to watch Cave Kids (1996)

Where to watch The Rubbles (2002)

This series of very short animated segments is one of the strangest deep cuts in the Hanna-Barbera vault. It’s a direct parody of MTV’s The Osbournes, featuring edgier humor than your typical Bedrock cartoon. It’s not available to stream on any mainstream service, but you can dig up all six episodes on the Internet Archive.

Watch every animated Flintstones movie in release order

If you thought the TV show lineup was extensive, wait until you see the movie list. From a theatrical spy comedy to several holiday adventures, the Flintstones animated filmography is massive.

While you can easily stream the hits, many Flintstones movies from the ’70s and ’80s are missing online. To save you a mile-long scroll, I’ve grouped every film and special by era in the dropdowns below. I’ve also flagged the hard-to-find entries so you know exactly what’s available.

Where to watch The Man Called Flintstone (1966)

Where to watch The Flintstones on Ice (1973)

Technically, this hour-long TV special is 100% live-action. But it still features the regular voice talents of Alan Reed as Fred, Jean Vander Pyl as Wilma, Mel Blanc as Barney, and Gay Hartwig as Betty. Recorded in Hamburg, Germany, it’s essentially a costumed ice show that feels like a black-and-white fever dream.

You can stream The Flintstones on Ice for free on YouTube.

Where to watch A Flintstone Christmas (1977)

Where to watch The Flintstones: Little Big League (1978)

Where to watch The Flintstones Meet Rockula and Frankenstone (1979)

In this Halloween special, the Flintstones and Rubbles win a nightmare vacation to Count Rockula’s castle. That’s where they face off against the titular vampire and his bolt-necked creation, Frankenstone. It’s a spooky-season delight, but the real horror is that you can’t currently stream it anywhere.

Where to watch The Flintstones’ New Neighbors (1980)

The first Flintstones special of the ’80s reintroduces the Frankenstones, a creepy new family that moves in next door. While Wilma and Betty try to welcome the oddball clan to the neighborhood, Fred immediately clashes with them in a classic sitcom feud. It isn’t available on major streaming platforms, but you can watch it on the Internet Archive.

Where to watch The Flintstones: Fred’s Final Fling (1980)

This primetime NBC special follows Fred, who mistakenly believes he has only 24 hours to live. It was released on The Flintstones Prime-Time Specials Collection: Volume 2 DVD in 2012, but you can fortunately stream it unofficially on YouTube.

Where to watch The Flintstones: Wind-Up Wilma (1981)

Wilma’s brief career as a professional baseball pitcher is currently missing from digital storefronts and subscription services. While it was released on physical media in the past, it remains stuck in licensing limbo, so you’ll need to stream it on the Internet Archive to watch it today.

Where to watch The Flintstones: Jogging Fever (1981)

Fred’s health is front and center again in this story, which sees him fail his annual physical and begin training for a big marathon. Jogging Fever isn’t officially available to rent or buy, but you can stream it on the Internet Archive.

Where to watch The Flintstones’ 25th Anniversary Celebration (1986)

If you love behind-the-scenes history, this retrospective is a must-watch. It features franchise creators William Hanna and Joseph Barbera rubbing shoulders with various celebrities to honor Bedrock’s legacy. You can currently stream it on YouTube, but the picture quality is pretty jittery.

Where to watch The Jetsons Meet the Flintstones (1987)

Where to watch The Flintstone Kids’ “Just Say No” Special (1988)

This wild ’80s artifact sees The Flintstone Kids navigating peer pressure in the ultimate anti-drug PSA. It culminates in a message from First Lady Nancy Reagan and a bizarre performance by “Michael Jackstone” singing a unique version of “Beat It.” Music rights keep this oddity off official platforms, but you can witness the spectacle on YouTube.

Where to watch Hanna-Barbera’s 50th: A Yabba Dabba Doo Celebration (1989)

Think of this feature-length TNT special as the Avengers: Endgame of the Hanna-Barbera universe. Hosted by Tony Danza and Annie Potts, it brings together over 50 legendary characters alongside a roster of famous guests to celebrate the studio’s golden anniversary. It’s a time capsule animation nerds won’t want to miss, and you can stream it on the Internet Archive.

Where to watch I Yabba-Dabba Do! (1993)

Where to watch Hollyrock-a-Bye Baby (1993)

Where to watch A Flintstone Family Christmas (1993)

You won’t typically find this 1993 special listed as a standalone title on streaming platforms. Instead, Warner Bros. bundles it into the A Flintstone Christmas Collection, which includes the 1977 A Flintstone Christmas. You can find the full collection via the links below.

Where to watch A Flintstones Christmas Carol (1994)

Where to watch The Flintstones: On the Rocks (2001)

Produced by Cartoon Network Studios, this TV movie features an animation style reminiscent of Dexter’s Laboratory and The Powerpuff Girls. It’s never been released on home video, which makes it a rare find. But you can currently stream it on the Internet Archive.

Where to watch The Flintstones & WWE: Stone Age SmackDown! (2015)

Watch every live-action Flintstones movie

Without counting chewable vitamins, my first real Flintstones experience was watching the live-action movie starring John Goodman. Released in 1994, it was the first cartoon-to-film adaptation to really dominate the box office—even if the reviews were a little rocky.

Six years later came the prequel, The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas, an origin story that nobody really asked for. It tries to recapture the charm of the first film with a new cast, but let’s just say there’s a reason you probably forgot this movie existed.
