Top Athletics players to watch
The A’s had yet another losing season last year and traded away some of their players at the deadline. And yet, there will still be plenty of players to watch during the 2026 season.
If the Athletics are going to improve, it’ll be on the back of Nick Kurtz, who was AL Rookie of the Year after hitting a whopping 36 home runs. Brent Rooker will also be key, having set career highs in games played, plate appearances, doubles, and walks in 2025. Also, look out for second baseman Jeff McNeil, whom the A’s acquired from the New York Mets.
