Nuvera internet plans and pricing

Nuvera’s fiber service, branded NuFiber, offers speeds from 200 Mbps up to 8 Gig with symmetrical upload and download speeds and unlimited data on every tier.

But Nuvera doesn’t publish flat national rates and sets pricing by address. For reference, we’ve listed the prices available to customers in Savage, MN. Treat these as reference points rather than quotes.

Additionally, an 8 Gig tier is available as an upgrade in some areas, and legacy DSL, cable, and fixed wireless plans are still active in others.

There are no annual contracts on residential internet, and no data caps, overage fees, or throttling during heavy use.

Nuvera also doesn’t bundle. TV, phone, and internet are sold individually, which is unusual among internet providers and generally good news if you only want one of the three.

Where is Nuvera internet available?

Nuvera serves southern Minnesota plus Aurelia, Iowa. That’s its entire coverage map — roughly 240,000 people, or less than 1% of the United States.

By the company’s own count, it delivers home internet to more than 30 communities. Service areas include New Ulm, Arlington, Dassel, Glencoe, Goodhue, Hector, Hutchinson, Litchfield, Prior Lake, Redwood Falls, Elko New Market, Savage, Sleepy Eye, and Springfield.

Nuvera’s Gig Cities project is the largest fiber investment in its history, backed by a pledge of more than $200 million. As of Nuvera’s most recent reporting, the company had upgraded 51,462 total passings and operated about 4,075 route fiber miles.
