Streamers Face Revenue Losses, Hike Prices for Viewers

Netflix removed the $9.99 Basic ad-free tier for viewers, and Peacock increased its prices after deactivating its free tier earlier this year. Streamers hope to draw more ad-tier subscribers with the plan changes and reduce revenue losses from content and the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.
