Although the PlayStation 5 has closed the gap in recent months, the Xbox still offers more streaming apps like Paramount+ and Spectrum TV compared to the PS5. You’ll also get standard features like 8K support and a disc drive that plays UHD Blu-ray discs, standard Blu-rays, DVDs, and CDs.

If you’re looking for something more affordable, we’d also recommend the NVIDIA SHIELD TV Pro, which offers streaming and gaming services in a compact device. Visit our streaming and gaming consoles guide to see how the Xbox Series X stacks up to the competition.

To set up a powerline connection, you’ll hook up one adapter to your PC and connect the second adapter to your Wi-Fi router.

The TP-Link TL-PA9020 was our top powerline ethernet adapter because of the TP-Link’s two Ethernet ports, excellent management tools, and low price. Read our full TP-Link TL-PA9020 review to learn more about the powerline adapter.
