“Yellowstone” is one of the biggest hits on cable TV right now, as viewers can’t get enough of the trials and tribulations of John Dutton (Kevin Costner), his family, and the rough-ridin’ crew of Dutton Ranch. Here are some other shows that have that “Yellowstone” vibe.

Shows like “Yellowstone”—”1883,” “1923,” “Marshals,” more
“Yellowstone’s” success spurred a handful of prequels, sequels, and spinoffs: “1883” and “1923” focus on older generations of Duttons throughout history. “Marshals” and “The Madison,” debuting in March 2026, are direct sequels—as is the rumored The Dutton Ranch. Two other series, “1944” and “6666” are also in development (or development hell).
You can watch every episode of “1883,” “1923,” (and eventually) “Marshals” and “The Madison” on Paramount+.

Mayor of Kingstown
Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan is also behind this current-day crime drama, which stars Jeremy Renner, Dianne Wiest, and Kyle Chandler as members of the McLusky family. The McLuskys skirt the law as they work to solve problems inside and outside of the city’s prison. (See also: Sheridan’s Tulsa King on Paramount+.)
