As an older Gen Z-er who grew up on Blue’s Clues and Rugrats, I’ll forever have an orange splat-sized hole in my heart for classic Nickelodeon. But, as I’ve learned, there is still tons of great content being aired on Nick in 2025.
Whether your kids (or you—we don’t judge) are fiending for the newest episodes of PAW Patrol or just hoping to catch reruns of OG SpongeBob SquarePants, I’ve got the details on what channel Nickelodeon is on in 50+ U.S. cities.
Nickelodeon is available on plenty of live TV streamers, too—along with a dedicated hub on Paramount+—so cord-cutters won’t get left out in the cold.
What channel is Nickelodeon on near me?
Nickelodeon’s channel numbers vary across the country (and across TV providers). DIRECTV and DISH make it easy with their channel numbers being the same nationwide. Other providers… not so much. No worries, though, as I did the legwork and compiled this handy chart with Nick channel numbers for 56 top U.S. cities.
Don’t see your city below? First off, sorry—I just don’t have the time to include every city in America. Secondly, just enter your zip code in the service-finder tool above to get detailed information on what TV providers are available near you.

Get Nickelodeon with a live TV streaming service
Don’t have cable? No problem. Nickelodeon’s available on basically all the top live TV streaming services currently on the market.
Sling TV is the most notable omission here, but as they have a relatively streamlined lineup of just 30–48+ channels, it’s not too surprising of a gap.

Watch Nickelodeon on Paramount+

Want the most Nick content with just a regular ole on-demand streaming service? Easy enough. Although Nickelodeon has shows peppered across plenty of streaming services, Paramount+—the streaming platform of its parent company Paramount Global—has the most Nickelodeon programming.
What does suck is that you won’t be able to watch new Nick content live as it airs on Paramount+. To watch new Nickelodeon shows live, you’ll need to subscribe to a live TV streaming service that carries the channel.

But still, Paramount+’s Nickelodeon hub is impressive. P+ has pretty much all of the Nick shows anyone could want, from new kids’ content to teen classics like iCarly (still one of the funniest shows ever, don’t @ me).
What’s on Nickelodeon?

What is Nickelodeon?
Nickelodeon was launched in 1979 as the first cable channel dedicated to kids’ content.
Growing steadily over the coming decades, Nickelodeon eventually branched out into multiple sister channels, including Nick Jr., Nicktoons, and TeenNick. Nickelodeon is also known for its nightly programming block, called Nick at Nite, which airs reruns of classic sitcoms.
Although not as popular as it was in its peak of 2011, Nickelodeon is still available in over 70 million households across the country.
