Fubo Adds New NHL Regional Sports Networks in These Four Markets
Carolina, Columbus, Minnesota, and St. Louis games will stream on Fubo
The shutdown of FanDuel Sports Network and Victory+ left many NHL teams scrambling to find new broadcast partners before the 2026–2027 season started. When the dust settled, four of those teams started their own regional sports networks and partnered with Amazon Prime Video for streaming distribution.
Now, add Fubo to the list of services that will carry games from the Carolina Hurricanes, Columbus Blue Jackets, Minnesota Wild, and St. Louis Blues in their respective markets.
“The addition of these RSNs to our already robust local sports coverage means Fubo subscribers can continue to enjoy their favorite local teams despite recent shifts in sports rights ownership,” Todd Mathers, executive vice president of content strategy and acquisition at Fubo, said in a statement.
Hurricanes Hockey Network, Blue Jackets Hockey Network, Wild+, and Blue Note+ join Fubo’s offering of NHL content that includes NHL Network, ESPN, ABC, and other RSNs. Those four new networks will be available to eligible Fubo subscribers.

CableTV.com verdict: Fans in these four NHL markets can breathe a sigh of relief
In early September, the NHL announced that Prime Video would stream local games for six teams “exclusively.” Those teams included the Hurricanes, Blue Jackets, Wild, and Blues.
What’s interesting about those four teams is that fans only need a free Amazon account to access RSNs — no need to pay for Prime. That drastically reduces the cost for those fans specifically.
But Fubo entering the mix makes things interesting. Not only does it significantly water down Amazon’s streaming exclusivity over these four RSNs, but it also gives fans a seamless experience if they already have Fubo. No need to create yet another account. In that sense, fans win.
Fubo wins as well. It’s one of the only live TV streaming services with a wide offering of regional sports networks. And now it won’t get left behind with all the recent changes to the NHL broadcasting landscape.
