Former FanDuel Sports Network teams get new distribution agreements with Fubo

Nearly half of NBA teams found new local broadcast and streaming solutions after FanDuel Sports Network shut down. Some teams went the over-the-air (OTA) route, while others combined OTA with DAZN.

Several popular TV plans either already carried the channels teams landed on, or made new or expanded deals with those franchises. Now there’s another live TV service in the mix.

Fubo announced Thursday that it reached new distribution agreements with seven NBA teams and their regional sports networks (RSNs). Those teams include: the Atlanta Hawks, Charlotte Hornets, Detroit Pistons, Miami Heat, Milwaukee Bucks, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Orlando Magic.

Fubo previously announced a deal to carry ClipperVision, the Los Angeles Clippers’ relaunched local broadcast network.

The company said in a statement that the new agreements bring Fubo’s in-market coverage to more than 75% of U.S. NBA teams.

Which NBA teams don’t have agreements with Fubo?

Nearly 25% of the league isn’t represented on Fubo. That’s eight teams: the Cleveland Cavaliers, Indiana Pacers, Los Angeles Lakers, Memphis Grizzlies, Minnesota Timberwolves, San Antonio Spurs, Toronto Raptors, and Washington Wizards.

The Raptors make sense — they’re in Canada, after all. Most of the remaining teams have exclusive deals with DAZN.

Then there’s the Wizards. Fubo hasn’t offered Monumental Sports Network since 2024 due to a carriage dispute.

The Lakers air on Spectrum SportsNet, which is one of the few RSNs Fubo has never carried.
