Hulu’s Best Comedy Is Coming Back This Winter, So Now’s The Time to Resubscribe
“Only Murders in the Building” Season 6 is headed to London
After months of tantalizing cast announcements, we finally have a premiere date for the sixth season of Hulu’s murder-mystery comedy, “Only Murders in the Building.”
The show is coming back to Hulu on December 8, 2026. Like previous seasons, episodes will air weekly, giving fans time to theorize their own solutions to this season’s murder.

A trip to the other side of the pond
For the past five seasons, Charles, Oliver, and Mabel have mostly stuck to the name of their own podcast. They only cover murders that happened in the building. But this season, the murder stretches that definition just a little bit: Cinda Canning died right at the edge of The Arconia’s property. She seemingly dragged her body up to the building’s entrance and used her dying breath to place her hand on the gate.
So Cinda’s death is officially our heroes’ problem. But Cinda’s murder likely didn’t start in New York City. She was investigating a murder overseas in England, so the gang will travel there to figure out what exactly happened to their former idol. According to Variety, the show will even be temporarily retitled “Only Murders in London.” It’s giving “Schmicago,” guys.
Luckily for us viewers, a new locale means a ton of British celebrity cameos. Even better, a whole bunch of those cameos will be “Doctor Who” stars. (David Tennant, Peter Capaldi, and Jodie Whittaker have all played The Doctor in the last twenty years.)
What do you think the overlap is on people who watched both “Wizards of Waverly Place” (Selena Gomez’s Disney Channel show) and “Doctor Who” growing up in the 2000s? They’re both family-friendly genre TV with low-budget special effects, so probably pretty big, right? I feel like this is going to be one popular crossover.

It makes you wonder how exactly they plan on squeezing so many cameos into just one season (and how many on this list, keeping with tradition, will play themselves). And will Paul Rudd come back yet again, using another ridiculous accent?
We’ll only know when the series returns to Hulu on December 8. Until then, I’ll be reorganizing my murder board.
