PFL vs. Bellator MMA Champs: Saturday Event To Establish New Title Holders in Merger

MMA cage surrounded by fans

Bellator MMA champions take on Professional Fighter League (PFL) champions to establish who will be the reigning champ since the merger of the two organizations.

On Saturday, Feb. 24, 2024, the MMA fighters go head-to-head at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, at 3:00 p.m. ET.

Why should I watch PFL Champions vs. Bellator MMA Champions?

In November 2023, the PFL bought Bellator MMA in mutual agreement to become the second-best MMA organization behind the UFC. It also worked well for Bellator MMA because SHOWTIME® shut down its sports division—Bellator’s previous broadcaster.

When this merger happened, PFL announced an epic champion vs. champion event, which is expected in 2024. Now, here we are—counting down the days and hours to PFL Champions vs. Bellator MMA Champions.

This MMA event will feature the champions of each weight class from both organizations and will face off in the cage to defend their title in the merger. PFL will absorb the best Bellator MMA fighters. (Bellator MMA will still have their own events in the future but at an international level.)

If you’re a true MMA fan, you know your plans for Saturday night because this event is. A. Must. Watch.

Who will be fighting in PFL Champions vs. Bellator MMA Champions?

PFL vs. Bellator Champs will consist of seven fights on the main card, with the champion of each organization going head-to-head in their respective weight class to defend their title.
