Classic ‘Sesame Street’ Episodes Find Another Home, and You Can Watch Them for Free

“Sesame Street” makes its FAST debut
The full “Sesame Street” library is currently split between HBO Max and Netflix, two of the most expensive streaming services on the market. But you also have some free options, like PBS Kids and YouTube.
Starting this week, you’ll have one more option for watching free “Sesame Street” episodes. Select episodes from the first 38 seasons are now available to stream on the free, ad-supported streaming television (FAST) service Tubi.
Looking for the full rundown on how to watch “Sesame Street” in 2026? Head over to our comprehensive watch guide. For more info on the episodes coming to Tubi, read on.
Tubi is a great place to find kids shows
Tubi has been making a splash in the family entertainment world lately. After HBO Max systematically removed years’ worth of Cartoon Network shows from its platform, Tubi swooped in to save them from becoming lost media. You can now watch dozens of classic cartoons for free, including “The Powerpuff Girls,” “Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends,” and “Dexter’s Laboratory.”
According to Tubi’s social media posts, you can expect even more titles to appear on the platform throughout 2026. Tubi is in its, and I quote, “cartoon era.”
And while “Sesame Street” is performed live with puppets, it seems that it’s become part of that new, kid-friendly vision that Tubi has for its revamped library. It makes sense, too: While Tubi isn’t owned by Warner Bros. Discovery, it does tend to pick up all of the IPs that WBD throws away.
How to find “Sesame Street” on Tubi
“Sesame Street” lives under the “Family Shows” genre on Tubi, alongside titles like “The Flintstones,” “Barney,” and “Diff’rent Strokes.” Or you could jump right to the “Sesame Street” page by clicking here.
You’ll find classic episodes from the show’s first 38 seasons (up to 2007), including the 1969 pilot “Gordon Introduces Sally to Sesame Street.”
