Here Comes ‘The Bride!’—Watch Her On VOD

Save the date! On Tuesday, April 7, aka today, Maggie Gyllenhaal’s “The Bride!” becomes available to rent or buy at video-on-demand (VOD) outlets.
You can find “The Bride!” at digital VOD storefronts like Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Fandango at Home, Google TV, Plex, and YouTube Movies & TV. Rentals are generally $19.99, or you can purchase the film for an extra five bucks ($24.99). See below for a list of VOD retailers carrying the film and any price differences (psssst!—there is one).
In the film, Christian Bale’s Frank and Jessie Buckley’s Ida—who eventually becomes the titular undead bride—are forced into an arranged marriage with catastrophic results. The catastrophe in question? The Bride develops a mind of her own and begins smashing the patriarchy. (Oh, the horror. Go, grrrl.)
The unhappy couple is registered at Macy’s.

When will “The Bride!” be on HBO Max?
So when will “The Bride!” be available on subscription-based streaming services? I’ve yet to see a streaming release date for the film, but I can make an educated guess as to where it will land. Since “The Bride!” is a Warner Bros. film, it should stream on HBO Max. Online buzz suggests this could occur in mid-to-late May.
