Want a Free TV for the Holidays? Verizon’s Early Black Friday Deal Has You Covered.

Will you choose a free TV or a $250 gift card?

It’s not even Thanksgiving, but Verizon is already giving away free TVs

Most internet providers — but not all, as Xfinity has shown — hold off until late November to roll out their Black Friday deals, but Verizon clearly didn’t feel like waiting around ’til Thanksgiving.

As CableTV.com’s resident deals editor, keeping tabs on holiday promos is literally my job, and I’m really impressed with what Verizon is offering up this year.

Depending on what Verizon internet plan you choose, new sign-ups will get two months of free service, plus your choice of a 43-inch Samsung TV and soundbar combo or up to $250 in gift cards to stores like Target or Sephora.

I love it when providers let consumers choose the best perks for their own setup — not everyone needs a new TV!

Still, some of these promos are locked behind higher-tier plans, so keep reading for the fine print on how to claim these early Verizon Black Friday offers, and how to suss out which deal’s the best bang for your buck.

Which plan gets you the Samsung TV or the $250 gift card?

To get the two free months, you’ll just need to sign up for any Verizon internet plan. That’s right, none are off the table, even the lower-tier Fios 300 Mbps and Verizon’s 5G Home plans.

From there, the choice comes down to which extra holiday bonus you want:

  • Totally free TV: Sign up for Fios 1 Gig or higher or 5G Home Plus or Ultimate, and Verizon will throw in a free 43-inch Samsung Neo QLED TV ($599.99 MSRP) and a Samsung B400F Soundbar ($139.99 MSRP).
  • Holiday shopping cash: Fios 5 Gig gets you a $250 reward card, while Fios 1 Gig, 2 Gig, or 5G Home Ultimate includes a $200 reward card. You can use your gift card at one of nine brands of your choice, including Target, Sephora, Macy’s, or Nordstrom.

Two months is already a solid breather for your Wi-Fi budget during the holiday season. The additional perk you choose depends on what’s best for your family.

Sure, the $740 total value of the Samsung bundle easily beats the highest gift card amount, but if you already have a sick TV setup, that may just go to waste. $200+ in gift cards can be a real lifesaver this holiday shopping season, helping offset inflation woes one gift at a time.

In this article

Delivered via 100% fiber-optic cables, Verizon Fios offers ultra-reliable, symmetrical upload and download speeds up to 5 Gig. In particular, our Tech Editor gave it top marks for gaming.

Verizon 5G Home Internet uses Verizon’s 5G cellular network to deliver internet access to your home. It’s more widely available and affordable than Verizon Fios, but has less consistent speeds and reliability.
