How to Save Money on Streaming By Switching Your Internet Provider

Take advantage of:

  • New subscriber offers
  • Exclusive bundle discounts
  • Free streaming services with purchase

It’s a great time to switch your internet provider

Streaming services are getting more expensive by the year, and it can feel impossible to keep track of every individual subscription. Simplify your life and save money by taking advantage of internet providers’ new subscriber deals—your new internet plan could give you free Netflix, Disney+, and more.

Of every internet provider I’ve researched, there are three that provide the best streaming service deals (as of June 2025): T-Mobile, Spectrum, and Xfinity.

T-Mobile has the best free streaming service deal without a cable TV plan. Its 5G Home Internet plans come with free Hulu and Paramount+ subscriptions, and many of its cell service plans come with a free Netflix subscription.

Spectrum offers the most bang for your buck, bundling six or seven free streaming services into its cable TV plans. Technically, you don’t have to sign up for Spectrum’s internet service to get this deal, but you’ll likely be saving even more money over your current plan if you do.

Xfinity doesn’t offer free streaming services to internet subscribers, but it does offer a fantastic streaming bundle called Streamsaver. Streamsaver offers Apple TV+, Netflix, and Peacock together in a bundle for 40% less than you would pay for them individually.

Internet providers change their deals frequently. For more information on these deals and more from providers like Verizon Fios and Optimum, check out our internet deals guides.

Free streaming services with T-Mobile 5G Home Internet

T-Mobile offers two free streaming services with its All-In plan, saving you up to $18.00 per month.

T-Mobile 5G Home Internet All-In

$70.00/mo.*

  • Download speeds between 133–415 Mbps
  • Expanded household coverage with included Wi-Fi Mesh Access Point
  • Free Hulu and Paramount+ subscriptions (regularly $9.99/mo. + $7.99/mo.)

You can also get free Netflix Standard with Ads (regularly $7.99/mo.) by signing up for certain T-Mobile phone plans, like Go5G or Experience More.

T-Mobile 5G Home Internet - Cable TV

Get the most bang for your buck with Spectrum TV

Spectrum’s TV plans offer a ton of free streaming services, including Max and Disney+.

TV Select Signature

$95/mo.

  • 150+ channels
  • Free Xumo Stream Box
  • Free streaming services (see below)

Check Availability

TV Select Signature Plus

$125/mo.

  • 160+ channels
  • Free Xumo Stream Box
  • Free streaming services, including Tennis Channel

Check Availability

In addition to 150+ cable channels, Spectrum TV Select Signature also comes with six free streaming services:

Service Regular price
(with ads)
Disney+ $9.99/mo.
Max $9.99/mo.
ESPN+ $11.99/mo.
Paramount+ $7.99/mo.
Peacock $7.99/mo.
AMC+ $6.99/mo.

The only downside to these free subscriptions is that they’re all ad-supported. That means dealing with ad breaks on your favorite shows and movies. If you subscribed to each service individually, you could choose to upgrade to the ad-free tiers, but Spectrum doesn’t give you that choice. That isn’t a problem unique to spectrum, though—the vibe with all free streaming service promos seems to be very “take-it-or-leave it.”

Sports fans can upgrade to TV Select Signature Plus, Spectrum’s premium TV package, to add a free subscription to Tennis Channel (regularly $9.99/mo.).

Bundle TV With Internet for More Savings

Xfinity Sports & News TV

  • Add to Xfinity Internet 400 Mbps
  • 50+ channels, local and national
  • Free Peacock Premium (regularly $7.99/mo.)

Xfinity’s Streamsaver package is a game-changing bundle available to all Xfinity Internet and TV customers. Rather than paying $7.99/mo. for Peacock Premium, $9.99/mo. for Apple TV+, and $7.99/mo. for Netflix Standard with Ads, Xfinity customers can bundle all three services together for the low cost of $15.00/mo.

And while most TV and internet promos stick customers with loads of ads, Streamsaver gives its viewers a bit of a break. Yes, its Peacock and Netflix subscriptions have ads, but its Apple TV+ subscription is ad-free. (This is because all Apple TV+ subscriptions are ad-free. It’s one of the last holdouts from a bygone era of premium television.)

If on-demand streaming isn’t for you, try Xfinity Sports & News TV instead. It’s Xfinity’s live TV streaming service (a la YouTube TV or Hulu + Live TV), and acts as a cable replacement. It also comes with free Peacock Premium, just to sweeten the deal.

Hear from a real Xfinity Internet customer
