Unlike its competitors, Netflix doesn’t offer a lot of ways to score a free subscription. You won’t get a Netflix subscription with a Spectrum TV plan or an Uber Eats order. You can’t even subscribe to a free trial of Netflix—at this point, they assume you know what kind of shows it offers.
As of writing, the only way to get free Netflix is through a T-Mobile phone plan. But don’t worry, there are also a few other ways to get discounted Netflix through other promotions. I’ve listed all of your options below, so keep reading if you’d like to lower your Netflix bill.

T-Mobile’s Netflix On Us

The best way to get free Netflix is to subscribe to a qualifying T-Mobile plan. According to T-Mobile’s website, here are the plans that qualify for free Netflix Standard with Ads:
- Experience More
- Experience Beyond
This deal is also available to individuals who qualify for military, 55+, or first responder discounts.
Other great Netflix discounts
That’s all there is when it comes to free Netflix. Bummer, right? But I’ve still found a couple instances of the next best thing: discounted Netflix.
You can get discounted Netflix with certain bundles from home internet providers. You’re probably already paying for an internet plan anyways, so why not get the most out of your money? I’ll break down the Netflix deals by provider below.
Verizon has a pretty good Netflix discount deal
Verizon offers a premium streaming bundle you won’t find anywhere else. For just $10.00/mo., you’ll get both Netflix Standard With Ads and HBO Max (With Ads), combining to create a streaming package with near-endless hours of entertainment.
Unlike T-Mobile, Verizon offers this deal to both its mobile phone and home internet customers. According to its website, the eligible plans include:
- Mobile Unlimited Ultimate
- Mobile Unlimited Plus
- Mobile Unlimited Welcome
- 5G Home Internet
- LTE Home Internet
- Fios Home Internet 1 Gig
- Fios Home Internet 2 Gig
This deal also stands out from others by offering upgrade options. If you choose to upgrade to the ad-free plan, Netflix Standard, you’ll be billed an additional $10.00/mo. for Netflix while still receiving the discount for HBO Max. And if you choose to upgrade to HBO Max Standard, you’ll be billed an additional $11.00/mo. while still receiving the discount for Netflix.
If you choose to remove ads from both services, you’ll pay a total of $31.00/mo. Without Verizon’s discount, this bundle would be $34.98/mo. (as of 7/30/25), so you’re still saving a little bit of money.
A lot of free streaming service deals and bundles force users into ad-supported plans, so I think this is a refreshing change of pace.
Xfinity StreamSaver bundles Netflix with other services at a discount

We’ve written about Xfinity StreamSaver a lot since it debuted in 2024. It’s a slightly bigger version of Verizon’s bundle: for $15.00/mo., you’ll get Netflix Standard With Ads, Peacock Premium, and Apple TV+. Of those three plans, only Apple TV+ is ad-free, but it’s still a deal.
Xfinity StreamSaver is available to Xfinity Internet customers. Eligible plans include:
- 300 Mbps
- 500 Mbps
- 1 Gig
- 1.2 Gig
- 2 Gig
If you live in an Xfinity area, I think StreamSaver is worth checking out. It combines three top-tier streaming services into the price of one.
