What is Xfinity StreamSaver?
Xfinity StreamSaver is Comcast’s answer to the streaming bundles that I see popping up everywhere, from the Paramount+ and SHOWTIME merger to Disney+’s ever-growing number of bundle options.
Xfinity StreamSaver plans and pricing
Plan | Price | Included streaming services | Live channel count | Details |
---|---|---|---|---|
Xfinity StreamSaver | $15.00/mo. | Apple TV+, Netflix, Peacock | N/A | |
Xfinity NOW StreamSaver | $30.00/mo. | Apple TV+, Netflix, Peacock | 125+ |

There are two Xfinity StreamSaver plans, StreamSaver and NOW Streamsaver. I figured there had to be a bit of a catch to both of these bundle deals, and I was right—both require you to have Xfinity internet service to subscribe (more on that below).
Xfinity StreamSaver is a straightforward streaming bundle like the ones mentioned above. For just $15.00/mo., you’ll get subscriptions to Apple TV+, Netflix Standard (with ads), and Peacock Premium (with ads).
That’s a savings of nearly $11 a month as compared to purchasing all three services separately. Honestly, I’m impressed. This is one of the best streaming deals I’ve seen from an internet provider (and I personally update all our deals pages every month!)
If you want live TV channels alongside your streaming, Xfinity NOW StreamSaver is the way to go. It adds 125+ live channels for $30.00/mo. on top of its discounted Apple TV+, Netflix, and Peacock subscriptions. Most live TV streaming competitors cost upwards of $80/mo. for reference.
You need Xfinity Internet to get Xfinity StreamSaver
Like I said, there’s a catch to Xfinity’s StreamSaver plans: You gotta have Xfinity internet to get ‘em. Luckily, our in-house internet aficionado Eric Chiu named Xfinity as the best cable internet provider, so that’s definitely not a bad thing. (Psst—I also gave Xfinity our Best of the Best for Cable TV award if traditional TV’s more your thing.)
I’ve included three of Xfinity’s traditional postpaid cable plans plus one of Xfinity’s prepaid NOW internet plans in the table below, all of which will pair nicely with your StreamSaver plan of choice.
Xfinity internet plans are affordable and fast
Plan | Price | Download speeds up to | Upload speeds up to | Details |
---|---|---|---|---|
Connect | $35.00/mo.* | 150 Mbps | 35 Mbps | |
Connect More | $40.00/mo.* | 400 Mbps | 35 Mbps | |
Fast | $45.00/mo.* | 600 Mbps | 35 Mbps | |
NOW Internet 200 Mbps | $45.00/mo.† | 200 Mbps | 10 Mbps |
Data as of post date. Offers and availability may vary by location and are subject to change.
*For 12 months, no term contract. Taxes not included. Incl. up to $10/mo. auto-pay & paperless bill discount.
†Restrictions apply. Not available in all areas. Limited to NOW Internet service, speeds up to 200 Mbps/10 Mbps. Actual speeds vary and are not guaranteed.
With download speeds that can get up to a whopping 10,000 Mbps in some areas, Xfinity’s internet plans will be sure to keep your StreamSaver subscriptions streaming smoothly and buffer-free.
My Xfinity internet plan of choice would be Gigabit if I lived in an Xfinity area. Ever since my two-person household upgraded to a 1,000 Mbps internet plan last year, I’ve noticed a marked increase in speeds and an overall smoother internet experience. TBH, I can’t imagine ever going back to a slower internet plan now.
Compare Xfinity StreamSaver bundle to other streaming bundles
So, I was curious: How does Xfinity StreamSaver stack up against the other streaming bundles out there?
For the comparison table below, I chose the bundle options with ads, although Paramount+ with SHOWTIME is virtually ad-free. Disney+ offers ad-free versions of its bundles for a higher price tag if ad breaks are a dealbreaker for ya—and I don’t blame you if they are because ads are a drag.

---|---|---|---|
Duo Basic (Disney+ with ads + Hulu with ads) | $10.99/mo. | Savings of $9.00/mo. |

Looking at the table above, I noticed that StreamSaver doesn’t have the best savings, although it definitely doesn’t have the worst, either. (Hey, some savings are better than none!)
Comparing savings isn’t the only way to determine a bundle’s value, though. The quality and content of the services in the bundle are arguably more important. In that regard, Xfinity is doin’ good: Netflix, which is included in StreamSaver, won our Editor’s Choice award for best streaming services.
But here’s a word to the wise: Just because something’s a deal doesn’t mean it’s right for you. Maybe you’re only interested in Netflix in the StreamSaver bundle, so Apple TV+ and Peacock will just be sitting there in your metaphorical junk closet, gathering dust. That’s wasted money, even though you’re “saving” money through the bundle.
Like, I know that I’m a Hulu fiend, plus I always need to have my Succession and Star Wars rewatches on deck from Max and Disney+. To me, that makes Disney+’s bundle with those three services a no-brainer to subscribe to because I know that I’d pay for all three separately.
Basically, do your research into streaming service offerings before jumping on a deal like StreamSaver. Make sure you know if there is content on all the included services that you want to watch. Our best on-demand streaming services guide is a great place to start. (And if you really only want Netflix, just get Netflix!)
Xfinity StreamSaver FAQ
What is included in the Xfinity StreamSaver?
In Xfinity’s StreamSaver package, you’ll get access to Apple TV+, Netflix (with ads), and Peacock Premium (with ads) for $15.00/mo., 40% off the regular price of bundling.
With the $30.00/mo. Xfinity NOW Streamsaver plan, you’ll get those three streaming services plus 125+ additional live TV channels.
Is the Xfinity Now StreamSaver worth it?
We think Xfinity NOW Streamsaver is worth it if you already have Xfinity Internet. It’s an easy way to save money on three of the best streaming services on the market.
A downside to StreamSaver is that it only includes the ad-supported versions of Netflix and Peacock. We think ad-free is the best experience for your fave services and is quite often worth shelling out the extra money for. But if you don’t mind ads, then StreamSaver’s bundle will work just fine.
What channels are included in Now StreamSaver?
Xfinity NOW StreamSaver has 125+ live channels, including AMC, Discovery, Hallmark Channel, and more. Check out the full NOW StreamSaver channel lineup on Xfinity’s website.
