You don’t wanna sign up for an Xfinity cable TV package without first ensuring that it has the live and HD channels you wanna watch. Don’t worry, ‘cause CableTV.com has your back. Take my hand, and we’ll check out the Xfinity TV channel lineups—together.
Xfinity’s advertises 125–140+ channels in Starter, 200–220+ in Preferred, and 220–260+ in Premier.
Why the number ranges? Because Xfinity’s channel counts vary with your region. What’s with the plus symbols? Xfinity guarantees a certain number of channels, so 220+ means you’ll get at least that many channels plus—possibly—more.
That’s why, currently, Preferred and Premier have the same 288 channels. So of course you should get Preferred because you’ll get the same channels at a better price. And that’ll leave you with extra money for Xfinity’s premium networks and add-on channel packs, which we cover down the page.
