Xfinity’s Popular TV and Ultimate TV packages offer the most variety for sports fans compared to other cable TV providers.

Xfinity offers a few additional sports packages
Xfinity offers only a few add-ons for sports-watchers, but no other company beats its $10 package for 40+ channels (some of which are entertainment channels).
The More Sports & Entertainment channel pack gives you secondary cable channels, including CBS Sports Network, NFL RedZone, and NBA TV. It’s honestly worth the $10 just for NFL RedZone during the NFL season if you’re also a fan of watching the best plays on Sundays in real-time.
During checkout, you can add an NBA League Pass and NHL Center Ice subscription to your Xfinity cable plan. You’ll want to subscribe to those if you don’t live in the area of your team.

Xfinity is one of the few TV providers with regional sports networks
Xfinity offers a solid lineup of regional sports networks (RSNs) to help you catch every mid-week game for your favorite team. So, if you’re currently in need of a specific RSN to watch your MLB team, just know that most RSNs are available on Popular TV, and some are exclusive to Ultimate TV.

Is Xfinity worth it for sports fans?
Xfinity offers solid channel coverage for sports fans who want to watch live games.
While Xfinity’s RSN coverage in the Pacific Northwest and Mountain West region has some gaps, usually, its FanDuel Sports Network and NBC Sports coverage is otherwise excellent.
