How to get Xfinity free phones
You’ll need Xfinity Internet first
There are a few steps you’ll need to check off your list in order to take advantage of Xfinity’s free phone offers.
First, you’ll need Xfinity internet service. If you already have it, great! If not, we have a super in-depth guide to Xfinity internet, so I suggest taking a look at it to see what plan works best for you before you sign up. (Psst—Xfinity is also my colleague Eric’s pick for the best cable internet service out there.)
Sign up for Xfinity Mobile next
Once you have Xfinity internet service, you’ll be able to sign up for Xfinity Mobile. There’s a ton to love about the service outside of the free phones, like reliable Verizon network coverage and great bundle deals. Just be sure to sign up for the Premium Unlimited plan if you want a free phone. (Don’t worry if you want a different Xfinity Mobile plan—Xfinity offers great discounts with its other mobile packages, too. Hop over to our Xfinity deals page for all the details.)
Now you can claim your free phone from Xfinity
And voila! As a new Xfinity Mobile customer with a Premium Unlimited line, you’re now eligible for a brand-new free phone. I’m sure you already have an old phone you’re itching to get rid of, so as long as it’s a qualifying trade-in, you’ll be all set to upgrade for free.
