Local channels are costly, so Sling TV doesn’t offer them (or many, for that matter) to keep your subscription price low.
If you live in a big city, such as Chicago or Los Angeles, you’ll get access to all three local channels Sling offers: ABC, FOX, and NBC.
If you don’t, an antenna and AirTV combo will deliver these local channels to your Sling service. And sometimes, Sling offers deals on said combo.

Which is better, Sling Blue or Orange?
It depends on the kinds of channels you want. Sling Blue ($40 monthly) has 40+ mostly entertainment and lifestyle channels, with some news and sports. Sling Orange ($40 monthly) has 30+ channels and focuses on sports and family/kids networks with some entertainment and sports networks. If you can’t decide between the two packages, Sling Orange + Sling Blue package ($55 monthly) has all 45+ channels Sling TV carries. And if you want even more channels, Sling TV has 40+ add-on packages.
Does Sling Blue have ABC, CBS, and NBC?
Sling TV has ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC and other local channels in only a few markets, so you’ll more than likely need an over-the-air (OTA) TV antenna to get those channels.
