What is Manhunt: Deadly Games?
Manhunt: Deadly Games is the second season in the Manhunt series, following the 2017 debut of Manhunt: Unabomber on Discovery Channel. Manhunt: Deadly Games, which premiered as a Spectrum Original on Spectrum cable TV in February 2020, is a dramatization of the Olympic Park bombing attack during the Atlanta Summer Olympics in 1996.
The 10-episode Manhunt: Deadly Games reenacts the stories of controversial “hero cop” Richard Jewell (played by Cameron Britton) and Olympic Park bomber Eric Rudolph (played by Jack Huston). Judith Light, Carla Gugino, Gethin Anthony, Kelly Jenrette, and Arliss Howard also star in the series.
After premiering exclusively on Spectrum (where it still can be seen), Manhunt: Deadly Games aired on CBS in August 2020 and made its way to Netflix by December.
Unfortunately, despite being one of the most popular true-crime series on the platform, Manhunt: Deadly Games is no longer on Netflix. If you want to watch the show now, you’ll have to become a Spectrum or Hulu subscriber
Fun (or terrifying) fact: Cameron Britton portrayed serial killer Ed Kemper in the first season of Netflix true-crime drama Mindhunter.

Final take: Get into Manhunt: Deadly Games
Manhunt: Deadly Games treads similar historical ground as the 2019 Clint Eastwood film Richard Jewell but delves further into all involved characters, not just Jewell.
Eastwood’s movie has earned slightly more critical acclaim, but Manhunt: Deadly Games is a longer, deeper dive—and how can millions of viewers be wrong? Don’t answer that; we’ve seen Floor is Lava.
