Even though their prices have gone up over the past year, we still ranked Spectrum as the best traditional cable provider for solid prices and good channel counts.
Spectrum’s cable plans offer 155–160+ channels, including ESPN, Cartoon Network, Food Network, and basic Disney+. You can add additional channel packs during the checkout process for more cable and premium cable networks.
Spectrum also offers bundles with their mobile plans. They currently offer a free year of one Spectrum Mobile Unlimited phone line with the purchase of a Spectrum internet plan. Keep in mind, though, that their “Unlimited” plans are a little misleading—if you exceed the plan’s 30 GB data cap, you’ll still be able to use the internet, but your speeds will be significantly lowered.
If you’re on the lookout for a landline phone, Spectrum also offers a good home phone package. Spectrum Voice adds $19.99 to your monthly bill for unlimited calling to the U.S., Mexico, Canada, and Puerto Rico.
