Super Bowl Spanish-language broadcast

Univision will simulcast this year’s Super Bowl broadcast in Spanish, and it’ll be the network’s first time carrying the Super Bowl. Spanish-language broadcasts have become a huge opportunity for networks—in 2022, Telemundo was the first broadcast network to air a Spanish-language Super Bowl simulcast. Nickelodeon Spongebob Squarepants Super Bowl broadcast

Kids, families, and SpongeBob fans can rejoice: Nickelodeon will once again feature a Spongebob Squarepants-themed Super Bowl simulcast for younger viewers.

SpongeBob (Tom Kenny) and Patrick Star (Bill Fagerbakke) will man the broadcast booth, while Sandy Cheeks (Carolyn Lawrence), Larry the Lobster (Mr. Lawrence), Dora The Explorer (Diana Zermeño), and Boots (Asher Colton Spence) will provide additional in-game commentary. Most importantly, the SpongeBob simulcast will open with a recreation of the iconic “Sweet Victory” song from season two’s episode Band Geeks. Come for the family-friendly broadcast, and stay for the opportunity to hear Patrick do NFL commentary:

Who’s playing the Super Bowl halftime show?

Usher will be the halftime performer for Super Bowl LVIII. Last year, Usher wrapped up a 100-show residency at the Park MGM, and it featured segments including a choreographed dance on roller skates—we’ll see if anything from Usher’s Vegas show carries over to his Super Bowl performance.

Super Bowl postgame coverage

The NFL Today Postgame Show will immediately follow Super Bowl LVIII on CBS at around 10:30 p.m. depending on the game’s end time. Jim Nantz will present the Vince Lombardi Trophy to the winning team.
