If you’re an NFL fan, get ready to add yet another streaming service to your sports rotation. Starting this year, Netflix will be the newest home for the NFL’s Christmas games.
Whether you’re a lifelong Netflix subscriber or sighing over adding another streamer to your TV setup, here’s what you need to know about Netflix’s 2024 Christmas Day NFL games.
2024 Netflix NFL Christmas Day schedule
For the 2024–2025 NFL season, Netflix will get two Christmas Day games featuring four AFC teams that’ll likely be in the thick of the NFL playoff race. Both games also headline a full slate of college football bowls and NFL games over Christmas week.
Kansas City Chiefs at Pittsburgh Steelers
The Chiefs enter the season on a wave of good vibes, as the defending Super Bowl champs return their key players and remain well-positioned to maintain their spot as a playoff favorite.
As for the Steelers, they’ll likely be a work in progress this season thanks to their full offensive overhaul. But if the Steelers’ defense can keep the team afloat—they ranked sixth in the stat Defense-adjusted Value Over Average last year—they could be a tough out for Kansas City.
Baltimore Ravens at Houston Texans
Netflix will close out the Christmas NFL games slate with a matchup between two of the NFL’s best young quarterbacks.
The Ravens remain one of the NFL’s premier squads thanks to Lamar Jackson and a defense that’s among the best in the league. In Houston, quarterback C.J. Stroud was a revelation for the Texans last year, and they’ve further invested in Stroud with big moves like the Stefon Diggs trade and Nico Collins re-signing.
