Between 13–10, upsetting Alabama, and landing quarterback Bryce Underwood, few teams entered the offseason with better vibes than the Michigan Wolverines. But for as hot as Michigan ended 2024, Michigan fans could be forgiven for wanting to forget about last year’s rough spots amid a 7–5 regular-season record.
That said, fans have ample reasons to be hyped for year two of the Sherrone Moore era. Michigan has a new offensive coordinator and brought in a solid transfer portal class headlined by running back Justice Haynes and defensive lineman Tré Williams. If that wasn’t enough, Michigan’s schedule sets the Wolverines up nicely for a possible bounce-back year.
How far can a potential-rich Michigan squad go this year? Here’s what you’ll need to know to watch Michigan football games during the 2025–2026 college football season.
Michigan Wolverines football TV schedule 2025
After facing four College Football Playoff teams in 2024, Michigan gets a slight breather with this year’s schedule.
The Wolverines’ non-conference slate is headlined by a trip to Oklahoma to face a Sooners squad looking for a big win in a potential make-or-break season. But on the in-conference side, Michigan won’t play Oregon or Penn State this year—their strength of schedule is ranked at a manageable 38th, per ESPN’s Bill Connelly. Now that they’ve named Underwood their starting quarterback for the season, Michigan can gradually ease him into the college game.
Notable games for Michigan include a September matchup against a plucky Nebraska team, a tricky back-to-back stretch against USC, Washington, and Michigan State, and the chance to tack another win to the streak when they host Ohio State to end the year.
