With its low prices and minimum download speeds of 100 Mbps, Vyve’s broadband internet packages won’t break the bank, and you’ll still get great speeds.
Vyve 105 offers the best deal for most households. At $25.00 per month for maximum download speeds of up to 105 Mbps, you’ll be getting fast internet performance at a low price. If your house needs more internet speed, Vyve 200 is an affordable upgrade at only $39.99 per month.
Vyve 105’s first-year price is only $5.00 more than Xfinity ($34.99/mo. for 100 Mbps), and Vyve Gig is $20.00 cheaper than Spectrum’s comparable package ($89.99/mo. for 1 Gbps). In some Vyve markets, the ISP also offers a 500 Mbps plan that fills the gap between its Vyve 200 and Vyve Gig plans.
Plus, Vyve’s internet plans don’t require a contract, and your bill will increase by only $10.00 after your first year (although Vyve Gig has a $20.00 increase). We’re never fans of scheduled price increases, but Vyve’s regular prices are still reasonable for a cable ISP.
Vyve’s actual internet performance is a slight step behind its great prices. According to speed test data from HighSpeedInternet, Vyve had an average latency of 33.2 ms. Latency refers to how long it takes for internet data to reach its destination, and high latency negatively impacts tasks like video calls and online gaming.
Vyve’s latency mark is still okay since you won’t experience major internet problems with sub-40 ms latency, but it was behind larger cable ISPs like Cox and Xfinity. Both ISPs had average latency times of around 20 ms.
