It follows a grieving man who decides to honor his mother and grandmother by opening a restaurant where all of the chefs are Italian nonnas. Susan Sarandon plays one of the titular grannies, even though she does not look 78.

Season 2 premiere, Thursday, May 8: Natasha Lyonne returns as Charlie Cale, a cynical detective with a nose for bs. In true Rion Johnson (Knives Out) fashion, every mystery is populated with A-list stars like John Mulaney, Haley Joel Osment, Cynthia Erivo, and Giancarlo Esposito. Also, and I just learned this: not the same thing as Russian Doll.
