How do I sign up for Kinetic low-income internet?
The application process depends on whether you’re applying for New York Income Assist or the federal Lifeline benefit.
New York Income Assist
- Check Kinetic Fiber availability. Income Assist is available only at qualifying New York addresses where Kinetic Fiber service is offered.
- Check household eligibility. Qualifying programs currently include the National School Lunch Program, SNAP, Medicaid, Senior Citizen Rent Increase Exemption, Disability Rent Increase Exemption, and qualifying utility affordability benefits.
- Complete the Income Assist application. Download and complete Kinetic’s application form.
- Gather your documents. Kinetic requires proof of participation in a qualifying program and a government-issued photo ID.
