Netflix is known for its stand-up comedy specials, but the streamer will try doing it live for the first time today.
Chris Rock will headline Netflix’s first global live broadcast tonight on Saturday, Mar. 4, with his stand-up special Selective Outrage, which is expected to cover topics like the Will Smith slap from last year’s Oscars ceremony. Here’s what you need to know about Chris Rock: Selective Outrage if you want to watch it live on Netflix tonight.
What is Chris Rock: Selective Outrage about?
Details about Selective Outrage are relatively slim, but it’s expected Rock will talk about when Will Smith slapped him at the 2022 Oscars. The New York Post reported that Rock has been workshopping Will Smith-related material earlier this week ahead of Selective Outrage‘s performance tonight. Rock performed his most recent stand-up material live for his Ego Death World Tour in 2022.
Selective Outrage is Rock’s second Netflix comedy special. He previously released 2018’s Tambourine, which covered topics including his personal life and infidelity.
