Move Over, ‘The Office’—There’s a New King of Workplace Cringe

A new season of "Jury Duty" with a twist only its creators could conjure.

You’re ordered to stream “Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat” this month

The first season of the mockumentary series “Jury Duty” was a surprise cultural phenomenon, earning critical acclaim and a devoted fanbase for its heartwarming, high-stakes prank on the lovable Ronald Gladden.

It even secured a Peabody Award and an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Comedy Series and gave us all a renewed appreciation for James Marden (once, like Ronald, we remembered he stars in the “Sonic the Hedgehog” movie).

And after a long wait for more unscripted chaos, the next chapter is finally here.

Instead of a courtroom, this season takes us to the corporate world. Here is everything you need to know about the release date, the new cast, and how to watch.

What is “Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat” about?

The new season follows Anthony, a real-life temp worker who believes he has been hired to help organize a corporate “away day” for a company called Rockin’ Grandma’s Hot Sauce.

Just like the first season, Anthony is the only person who isn’t in on the joke. Everyone around him is an actor, and the entire retreat is staged.

Over the course of eight episodes, Anthony will navigate the final retreat for the company’s retiring CEO, Doug, while a fake private-equity team attempts a hostile takeover.

“Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat” (technically Season 2 of “Jury Duty”) premieres on Friday, March 20, 2026. Unlike the previous season, which was on Freevee, this installment is a Prime Video exclusive, requiring a subscription to Amazon’s streaming service.
