Where Can You Watch ‘Pluribus’ and ‘Shrinking?’ How to Stream Emmy-Nominated Shows

Catch up before the Emmys on September 14
The 2026 Emmy Awards are fast approaching. Have you done your research? Catching up on entire seasons of popular shows can be a lot more time-consuming than watching a handful of Oscar-bait movies. But if you haven’t been following along with the hottest releases from the past 12 months, we’ve got you covered.
In this guide, you’ll find details on the 16 biggest shows nominated for Emmys Awards, including all of the titles being considered for Outstanding Comedy Series and Outstanding Drama Series. Let’s get started!
Where to watch Emmy-nominated comedies
There are eight shows nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series in 2026. All of them are available to stream right now, so keep reading to find out how.
“Abbott Elementary” is the definitive cable sitcom of the 2020s. Created by Quinta Brunson, it follows a group of elementary school teachers in Philadelphia. Like other classic sitcoms, it’s framed as a mockumentary, but one highlighting the difficult lives of teachers instead of traditional office workers. The show will return for its sixth season in October.
All five seasons of “Abbott Elementary” are now streaming on Hulu.
“The Bear” | Hulu
I say this every year, but it’s absolutely wild that “The Bear” is still considered a comedy. Not every comedy has to be a quirky sitcom, but they should at least have some jokes. But “The Bear” is considered a comedy due to its short runtime — dramas aren’t allowed to have 30-minute episodes. “The Bear” manages to fit a lot of kitchen-flavored drama into its half-hour format. It turns out that Chicagoan sandwich shops are rife with chaos. The good news (for other shows) is that “The Bear” is over, so this is the last awards season that it’ll mess up.
All five seasons of “The Bear” are now streaming on Hulu.
“Hacks” | HBO Max
“Hacks” received 24 nominations this year, more than any other comedy. It’s a fitting end for the HBO Max Original, which received critical acclaim for its depiction of a stand-up comedian (Jean Smart) and her younger writing partner (Hannah Einbinder). The show ended earlier this year, so this is its last chance to earn as many awards as it can (which it probably will).
All five seasons of “Hacks” are now streaming on HBO Max.
“Margo’s Got Money Troubles” | Apple TV
A lot of this year’s nominees live on Apple TV, and the first is “Margo’s Got Money Troubles.” Margo’s (Elle Fanning) life changes when her English professor gets her pregnant. She becomes an OnlyFans content creator to help with her titular money troubles, and raises her newborn son as a single mother. The show has been renewed for a second season.
The first season of “Margo’s Got Money Troubles” is now streaming on Apple TV.
“Nobody Wants This” | Netflix
Netflix’s only Emmy-nominated comedy is “Nobody Wants This,” a romantic comedy where Kristen Bell plays an agnostic podcast host who falls in love with a rabbi (Adam Brody). They come from different backgrounds, but manage to navigate a relationship despite their conflicting faiths. The show’s third season just began filming this month.
Both seasons of “Nobody Wants This” are now streaming on Netflix.
“Only Murders in the Building” | Hulu
Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, and Martin Short are an endlessly entertaining team of amateur detectives in this Hulu Original comedy. They start off as true crime podcast listeners, but after a mysterious murder in their fancy NYC apartment building, they decide to start their own podcast and solve the murder before the police. The sixth season is still being filmed, with a suspicious number of “Doctor Who” stars like Jodie Whittaker, David Tennant, and Peter Capaldi.
All five seasons of “Only Murders in the Building” are currently streaming on Hulu.
“Shrinking” | Apple TV
Jimmy (Jason Segel) is an unconventional therapist — while processing his wife’s death, he makes a drastic change to his methods, going to extreme lengths to fix their problems for them. But he can’t do it all by himself. He has to face the judgement of his colleagues, including his boss, an older man named Paul (Harrison Ford). Filming has begun on the show’s fourth season, which will resume the plot after a two-year timeskip.
All three seasons of “Shrinking” are currently streaming on Apple TV.
“Widow’s Bay” | Apple TV
In the mood for something spooky? “Widow’s Bay” isn’t your average comedy. It’s a supernatural horror-comedy about a misty New England town filled with creatures and curses. But Mayor Tom Loftis (Matthew Rhys) refuses to believe in superstition, and tries to get tourists to visit the town anyway. “Widow’s Bay” has been renewed for a second season.
The first season of “Widow’s Bay” is now streaming on Apple TV.

Where to watch Emmy-nominated dramas
There are eight shows nominated for Outstanding Drama Series in 2026. Want to catch up? Read on to find out how you can stream them all.
“The Diplomat” | Netflix
This political thriller stars Keri Russell as Kate Wyler, the newly appointed American ambassador to the United Kingdom. She and her husband quickly find themselves at the center of an international conspiracy in the Middle East, and Kate has to use all of her diplomatic strengths to diffuse the situation. A fourth season will air this October.
All three seasons of “The Diplomat” are now streaming on Netflix.
“The Gilded Age” | HBO Max
This period drama focuses on The Gilded Age, the economic boom that occurred in 1880s America. An industrialist “new money” family moves in across the street from a pair of “old money” sisters. But it’s not easy for the two social classes to get along, and the new-money Russells are initially shunned by high society. The show’s fourth season will air this fall.
All three seasons of “The Gilded Age” are now streaming on HBO Max.
“A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms” | HBO Max
Years and years before the events of “Game of Thrones,” there was a knight named Ser Duncan the Tall. Or Ser Dunk, to his friends. This prequel series follows his journey to become a respected knight in a world that only wants to knock him down. The best part? His squire, a little bald boy named Egg, who might know more about the world than he lets on. The second season is expected to premiere in 2027.
The first season of “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms” is now streaming on HBO Max.
“Paradise” | Hulu
In “Paradise,” the world has ended. Secret Service agent Xavier Collins (Sterling K. Brown) lives in an underground bunker, built by a billionaire to save humanity from an extinction-level event. But humanity might not even be safe in the bunker, because someone’s killed the President, and Xavier has to find out who did it. “Paradise” has been renewed for a third season.
Both seasons of “Paradise” are now streaming on Hulu.
“The Pitt” | HBO Max
It’s the hospital show your parents can’t stop talking about. It’s the source of all that ship art on your Instagram TL. “The Pitt” is this year’s most compelling medical drama. Each episode covers one hour in the workday at the Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center, portrayed in real time. Not only that, the plot often covers problems faced by real health care workers. HBO Max has renewed “The Pitt” for a third season.
Both seasons of “The Pitt” are now streaming on HBO Max.
“Pluribus” | Apple TV
This show is not for the faint of heart. In “Pluribus,” romantasy writer Carol Sturka watches everyone she’s ever known seize up and die. Most — but not all — survive as part of a global hivemind, a relentlessly happy society borne on the back of a virus from outer space. But she can’t convince anyone that anything is wrong, even when the “Joining” has some disturbing implications about consent. The second season will start filming later this year.
The first season of “Pluribus” is now streaming on Apple TV.
“Slow Horses” | Apple TV
In this British thriller, Gary Oldman plays Jackson Lamb, a cranky and verbally abusive man in charge of the worst branch of MI5. That branch is Slough House (which is also the name of the book series this show is based on), where MI5 sends its worst agents to get rid of them. “Slow Horses” has been renewed for its sixth and seventh seasons.
All five seasons of “Slow Horses” are now streaming on Apple TV.
“Your Friends & Neighbors” | Apple TV
Andrew “Coop” Cooper (Jon Hamm) gets desperate when he gets fired from his high-paying job. But his elite friends and neighbors still have plenty of money, so he starts stealing from them to keep up appearances and avoid having to find a new job. “Your Friends & Neighbors” has been renewed for a third season.
Both seasons of “Your Friends & Neighbors” are now streaming on Apple TV.
Emmy-nominated streaming services

Apple TV is absolutely dominating in this year’s nominations, proving once again that it carries some of the highest quality shows on the market.

Hulu also has a lot of nominations this year, specifically for its comedies. As the streaming service that carries all ABC content, this isn’t much of a surprise.

HBO has long been the home for prestige TV, and its award-winning shows are always worth a watch. Plus, dragons.

Netflix may crank out more content than you may think would physically be possible, but it’s got some gems in there as well.
