Blippi Mania: Where’s the Best Place to Watch All the Blippi Shows and Specials?

Where to watch Blippi

So your kid wants to watch Blippi.

Blippi is a really popular children’s entertainer right now, so you’ll run into him on most major streaming services, including YouTube. But where’s the best place to watch Blippi? I actually don’t have a single recommendation for you this time—there are so many different ways to watch Blippi, and you’ll find a lot of the same content on different platforms.

Instead, I’ll go over some pros and cons that I’ve noticed while researching. Let’s jump right in!

I want to watch Blippi for free!

You’re in luck—Blippi began his career on YouTube. The flagship channel, @Blippi, will always be free to watch.

As always, when you let your kid watch YouTube videos, you should stick around to supervise and make sure they don’t end up on some other part of the web. It should be something you watch together, not a digital babysitter! If you can’t be in the same room, try another form of entertainment, like a streaming service or DVD.

I want to watch as much Blippi as humanly possible!

There are so many Blippi shows, spinoffs, and specials that I’m not going to even attempt to list them all here. They don’t even go by the same names on every platform!  Instead, I’m going to guide you towards the streaming services that have the most amount of Blippi content for your buck and let you do the exploring from there.

Peacock and Amazon Prime Video offer the most seasons of the flagship Blippi series, while Netflix rebrands it as Blippi’s Adventures. Netflix also hosts some original Blippi content, like Blippi’s Job Show, that you won’t find anywhere else.

Hulu offers a ton of Blippi specials, like Blippi’s Magical Walt Disney World Adventure. Rather than being tied to one media company, Blippi collabs with a lot of brands and has seen cameos from The Wiggles, Elmo, and even The Grinch.

Service Seasons Specials? Details
Hulu 1, 2, 4 Yes View Plans for Hulu
Netflix 1, 2 [as Blippi's Adventures] Yes View Plans for Netflix
Peacock 2, 3, 4, 5 Yes View Plans for Peacock
Amazon Prime Video 1, 2, 3, 4 Yes View Plans

There are a few advantages to watching Blippi on streaming services instead of on YouTube. For one, it’s a lot safer. Streaming services are a closed system—you can’t just upload anything you want. On YouTube, even if you’re using YouTube Kids, it’s very easy to slip into a rabbit hole of content you weren’t expecting. But streaming services have dedicated libraries of kid-friendly, educational content. I especially like Netflix’s parental control tool that allows adults to remove titles individually from their child’s profile.

It also helps that you can watch Blippi content ad-free, although each of these streaming services requires an additional fee to remove ads.

I want to watch the animated version of Blippi!

Blippi isn’t just a collective of similar-looking men wearing the same hat and glasses. He’s also a cartoon character in his own show, Blippi Wonders. Blippi Wonders leans a lot more educational than the flagship Blippi series, and Blippi’s exaggerated voice and costume make a lot more sense on a cartoon character.

Blippi Wonders has its own free YouTube channel, and you can also find full episodes in order on Hulu and Amazon Prime Video. Unfortunately, Blippi Wonders episodes are much shorter than their live-action counterparts, with each episode coming in at about three minutes.

Blippi FAQ

What streaming service is Blippi on?

Blippi is on a lot of streaming services, including Hulu, Peacock, Netflix, and Amazon Prime Video.

Is the Real Blippi on Netflix?

Blippi's really good at being in multiple places at one time. And one of those places is Netflix! Yes, different actors may portray the character at different times, just like different actors portray Meekah at different times. Netflix carries titles from multiple Blippis, although not the original actor.
